I own a canon powershot d10. I love it because i can take pictures even under water. I contacted Canon support and after being transferred to a supervisor I was told the warranty does not cover water damage, sand/corrosion damage, dropping the camera. So just confirm before buying it.

Thank you for this information, and I, as a new member, thought that we would gratefully appreciate the latest information on new cameras – why be a member if you are not interested in updating. I have a Canon Powershot A590 and was interested in comparing the difference.
