Seagate, Western Digital or Maxtor Hard Disk

Yesterday, I just bought a brand new Maxtor hard disk. Why I bought Maxtor and not other brand such as Western Digital or Seagate? From my experience, I have used three (3) types of hard disk. Err..brand actually:D

Maxtor, Seagate, Western Digital

I have used my Maxtor hard disk since year 2003. I have used it for 5 years and now I am still using it without any damage.

How about Seagate and Western Digital hard disk?

Since I felt that there are no more empty space available on my old Maxtor hard disk, I have purchased Seagate hard disk on the end of year 2007. Guess, how long I am available to use it? Heh, on June 2008 I have no longer available to access my Seagate hard disk. Why? Until now, I don’t know why..My computer still can not detect him. I thought that my motherboard don’t like any other hard disk, unless Maxtor because my another Western Digital hard disk just damage about a month ago.

Then yesterday, I went to computer shop to find Maxtor hard disk. I am lucky, there are only one shop among the rest of shop which selling Maxtor hard disk and when I reach inside the shop, there were the last one left Maxtor hard disk. After negotiate with the shop keeper, I have bought Maxtor hard disk with very affordable price. I bought 500GB Maxtor hard disk with only 40 cents for each Gigabyte.

Hurm, hopefully this time Maxtor hard disk will work any longer than my previous WD and Seagate hard disk. Hopefully Maxtor hard disk will work fine without any hard disk failure, and not trouble on me with any hard disk data recovery. Hopefully…(pray to god)
