For those that are using Microsoft Windows (2000,XP,Vista,Server 2003), recommended to install the windows patch below to ensure the security of your workstation.
Microsoft Security Bulletin MS08-067 – Critical
As the worm also spreads via USB key, advised to all Windows user to Disable Autoplay for USB and all external drive. To Disable Autoplay, please run the steps below to disable infection via USB key sharing.
For Windows XP, 2000 and 2003 User
1. Click START then RUN
2. Type GPEDIT.MSC into the OPEN box and click OK
3. Under Computer Configuration, click Administrative Templates > then System
4. Right click on Turn off Autoplay (Disable Autoplay on Win 2000) and select Properties
5. Click Enabled, and then in the dropdown select All Drives > Click OK
6. Close the Group Policy Editor
7. Restart Your Windows
For Windows Vista
1. Click START, type GPEDIT.MSC in the search box and hit enter
Note: You might need to enter your administrator password at this point
2. Under Computer Configuration, expand both Administrative Templates and Windows Components, and then click Autoplay Policies
3. Double click Turn off Autoplay
4. Restart Windows

What d u mean??this is step to prevent or disable the autoplay once you plugin USB device such as tumb drive and external hard disk..
